The process for ActivSeating has a very specific sequence to make the best posture easy:
Start with a chair that fits the body, and has the right features for the work.
First position the seat height for the very best leg strength, then support the upright torso with the chair pan level and the chair back against the torso to measure the height of the elbow and eye.
Second, Locate the work surface just above the elbow height
Third, Locate the visual targets to the eye height or to minimize neck bend.
Fourth, tip the seat pan either forward or backward, based on the nature of the work. Both forward and reclined chair adjustments will be supported at the same surface height
